A Letter from Bishop McClelland
A message of gratitude, community impact, and the hope we can carry forward together.
A Holiday Letter of Hope
Dear Friend,
As we continue to celebrate 30 years of community service and transformational impact, Word of Hope Ministries (WOHM) reflects on the dedicated volunteers, staff and partners who have helped us serve over 50,000 individuals and families since 1996.
Our mission is to support both the physical and spiritual needs of our community through four core pillars of service:
HopeWell
Providing health, wellness, and ATODA services centered on compassionate care and healing with dignity.
HopeWorks
Offering education, career development, and digital access to build future skills.
HopeBuilds
Supporting business development and mentoring entrepreneurs from concept to capital.
HopeLift
Delivering social support, life elevation, and resource navigation to meet immediate needs and restore hope.
As we approach the holiday season, we invite you to consider making a financial contribution to WOHM.

“I came to your organization looking for a job and was directed to the Employment Coordinator. After filling out a work form, the Coordinator and I discussed the type of job I was seeking, my availability, and my desired pay range. The Employment Coordinator then helped me update my résumé to reflect my current skills and guided me through filling out several job applications. The entire process was quick and simple. After leaving Word of Hope Ministries, I felt I was truly taking a step in the right direction. One of the jobs we applied to contacted me back and scheduled an interview for that same week. I am thrilled to share that I got the job! I still work there today at a restaurant called Maggiano's. I have been working there for seven months now and genuinely love the atmosphere. I don't plan on leaving anytime soon. For this I am appreciative. Thank you for your valuable assistance.”— Keira P. Smith
